The Spanish archipelago of the Canary islands is known for its white-and black-sand beaches. The largest island, Tenerife, is dominated by the sometimes-snowy Mt. Timanfaya National Park

Timanfaya Beach
On the west coast of Lanzarote lies Timanfaya National Park, one of Spain’s fifteen national parks. Its rugged landscape is filled with curving rock formations and volcanic craters. The park also features sweeping dunes and a Barbary falcon nesting site. You can visit the park by car or bus from the main road between Yaiza and Tinajo.
La Graciosa viewpoint
For stunning views of the island, you can head to the viewpoint in La Graciosa. However, it’s important to know that the viewpoint itself isn’t accessible by car. If you want to visit this attraction, you’ll need to take a boat from Orzola or Caleta de Sebo. You’ll have to pay EUR20 for an adult ticket, but the price goes down to EUR11 for children. If you’re planning to spend the night on the island, you can opt for a camping site in El Salado beach. If you’ve never camped before, it’s probably best to stay at a hotel or rent an apartment.
El Hierro Natural Park
If you’re into scuba diving and outdoor pursuits, you should head to El Hierro, the southernmost island of the Canaries. The island’s lighthouse is located on the island’s west coast, in an area where there is little light pollution. This makes it an ideal location for stargazing or taking photographs of the Milky Way. The island’s climate is also favorable for all year-round activities, including diving, hiking, and sailing.
La Palma Shoe Designer Manolo Blahnik
The La Palma Islands are a volcanic island. While it is home to a small city, Santa Cruz, the world-famous shoe designer was born and raised here. Today, he lives in Bath, England. La Gomera Natural Park
The park is a UNESCO World Heritage Site and has many hiking trails of varying difficulty. You can spot 2,000 species of flora and fauna. About half are endemic to the island. You can see the incredible flora and fauna on a 7m glass viewing platform called the Mirador de Abrante. You can also visit the Playa del Ingles, a popular family beach.
