Assume that you are going for vacations, but the manager asked you to provide a replacement to handle your task. The team communicates via e-mail. Files are shared through folder options and meetings are scheduled via calendar. Thus to continue the work you can grant delegate access in Outlook by which the person whom you assigned as a replacement can check emails and meetings. The user can check information over OWA (Outlook Web Application).
A user can share the folder and calendar in Outlook delegate access by changing permissions. When a user is granted delegate access he/ she can modify and view messages in the mailbox. The process to grant Folder permissions and calendar permissions is different. Here we will know how to assign permissions and open delegate mailbox in Outlook 2016 and solve issues in Outlook.
